The New York International Auto Show was the first and is the largest attended Auto Show in North America. The show is also one of the largest events in New York City each year, receiving over one million visitors during its 10-day run. Filling the Jacob K. Javits Center with over 1,000 vehicles from major auto manufacturers and more it is a must see for all auto enthusiast. This app requires the limited use of background processing to enable persistent location reporting. This feature provides valuable benefits to the app user based on their continued presence in a particular location. Examples may include notifications of proximity to moving points or items of interest and crowd or traffic navigation instructions. This app uses a variety of location detection mechanisms including platform location services and iBeacon detection, providing a common user experience across different types of landmarks and points of interest. In some situations (such as requiring the accurate distinction between a potentially large number of points of interest within a small geographic area), this app may require background location services to provide a more responsive and accurate user experience than would be possible using only Significant Location Change. When running in background mode, this app strives to act as a good iOS citizen by minimizing the use of system resources. For example, the frequency and accuracy of location requests will be dynamically adjusted to minimize power consumption as needed to provide the responsiveness required for the user experience. Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
